Job Summary
Hybrid Fellowship: Advanced Training in MRI Melbourne Victoria
This fellowship offers broad exposure to medical and surgical pathology across neurological musculoskeletal and body imaging with a strong emphasis on musculoskeletal MRI. Training spans a diverse range of high-volume clinical settings including major private hospitals and specialist outpatient practices:
Cabrini Private Hospital Malvern busy emergency department with strong neuro and MSK focus; 1.5T & 3T Siemens MRI
St Vincents Private Hospital East Melbourne specialist neuro and MSK imaging with sub-interest in hand wrist and hip; 3T Siemens MRI
Victoria House Medical Imaging South Yarra large orthopaedic and sports medicine referral base including elite athletes; 3T Siemens MRI
John Fawkner Private Hospital Coburg busy multidisciplinary private hospital; 3T GE MRI
Frankston Private Hospital multidisciplinary service with oncology focus; 3T Siemens MRI
Moorabbin Radiology stand-alone practice with emphasis on urology oncology and research trials; 1.5T Siemens MRI
All sites offer full Medicare eligibility. Fellows are supervised by sub-specialty MRI Fellowship-trained radiologists and are expected to actively participate in a research project as part of the program.
