Position Title: Material Handler
Location: Auburn Hills
Shifts Needed: Day
Days Monday-Friday 6am to 4:45pm Saturday 6am to 12pm
Character of Position
As an Material Handler you will be responsible for pulling and verifying materials and supplies on each job.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials
- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on BOM for build crews
- Assist with kitting products to build
- Document product/material movement
- Operates forklifts pallet jacks and other machinery to move items
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and ITAR compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Organizational and communication skills
- Ability to read and analyze information
- Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
- Excellent time management
- Process improvement mindset
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Ability to lift heavy materials
Experience
- Previous stock or inventory experience a plus
- Forklift experience preferred
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
