About the Opportunity

The Y Victoria is currently recruiting a full-time OSHC Director for our Armstrong Creek Primary School service. This role is all about creating safe joyful and engaging experiences where children feel a sense of belonging confidence and fun before and after school.

As OSHC Director you will lead a program that puts children at the centre. You will support educators to design play-based experiences that reflect childrens interests strengths and ideas and help them build friendships resilience and independence in a relaxed welcoming environment.

In this role you will:

Lead the day-to-day operation and future growth of a vibrant OSHC service
Work alongside educators to deliver high-quality engaging programs shaped by childrens voices
Work closely with families and children with additional needs to ensure inclusive supportive and positive experiences
Partner with the OSHC Regional Manager to strengthen practice systems and sustainability
Build strong positive relationships with the school families and the local community
Lead and support a passionate team of educators who make every session fun safe and meaningful for children

This is a full time leadership opportunity with a salary of $85685 ECEC retention payment superannuation.

What do you need

Minimum Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care and/or Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood
Have (or be willing to obtain) HLTAID012 First Aid Qualifications (including valid CPR)
Have (or be willing to obtain) WWCC (Working With Children Check)Employee edition (VIT unable to be accepted)
Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
Equivalent experience
