About the Opportunity

The Y Victoria is currently recruiting a full-time OSHC Director for our Armstrong Creek Primary School service. This role is all about creating safe joyful and engaging experiences where children feel a sense of belonging confidence and fun before and after school.

As OSHC Director you will lead a program that puts children at the centre. You will support educators to design play-based experiences that reflect childrens interests strengths and ideas and help them build friendships resilience and independence in a relaxed welcoming environment.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation and future growth of a vibrant OSHC service
  • Work alongside educators to deliver high-quality engaging programs shaped by childrens voices
  • Work closely with families and children with additional needs to ensure inclusive supportive and positive experiences
  • Partner with the OSHC Regional Manager to strengthen practice systems and sustainability
  • Build strong positive relationships with the school families and the local community
  • Lead and support a passionate team of educators who make every session fun safe and meaningful for children

This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference in childrens everyday experiences while leading a service that values play connection and quality care.

This is a full time leadership opportunity with a salary of $85685 ECEC retention payment superannuation.

What do you need

  • Minimum Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care and/or Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood
  • Have (or be willing to obtain) HLTAID012 First Aid Qualifications (including valid CPR)
  • Have (or be willing to obtain) WWCC (Working With Children Check)Employee edition (VIT unable to be accepted)
  • Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
  • Equivalent experience
