Vous ferez partie de léquipe de souscription résidentielle. À titre de souscripteur vous ferez la souscription et lémission de polices dassurance titres résidentielles pour les transactions immobilières résidentielles au Québec particulièrement auprès de la clientèle détudes de notaires ainsi quauprès des propriétaires dimmeubles résidentiels. Vous ferez connaître aux clients les avantages de lassurance titres résidentielle la diligence raisonnable et la couverture offerte par lassurance titres résidentielle.

VOICI COMMENT VOUS ALLEZ CONTRIBUER:

• Recevoir et traiter les demandes dassurance titres pour des transactions immobilières résidentielles

• Analyser des opinions sur les titres des certificats de localisation et tout autre document nécessaire à la souscription des polices

• Assister le service de la division résidentielle au niveau de la mise en application des règles et procédures de souscription

• Entretenir dexcellentes relations avec les clients et fournir linformation sur les directives de souscription avenants couvertures coûts etc.

• Participer à lélaboration de solutions afin dassurer lentière satisfaction des clients

• Émettre les polices dassurance selon les besoins et les normes et ce de façon précise et dans les délais prescrits

• Contribuer à lamélioration des procédures en proposant des méthodes différentes lorsque cest possible

• Participer et supporter le travail déquipe en aidant dautres départements

• Toute autre tâche connexe relevant de lexercice de vos fonctions

VOICI CE QUE VOUS APPORTEREZ:

• Minimum de 3 à 5 ans dexpérience dans le droit immobilier dans le traitement des transactions résidentielles ou des études comme parajuriste (diplôme détudes collégiales en techniques juridiques)

• La certification dagent dassurance de dommage autorisé(e) par lAMF à conseiller des produits dassurance conformément à la réglementation en vigueur/ Authorized by the AMF to advise on insurance products in compliance with applicable regulations

• Excellentes habiletés en communication; bilingue à loral et à lécrit (français et anglais)

• Communication efficace orienté vers le service à la clientèle

• Capacité à travailler sous pression gérer plusieurs dossiers en parallèle et respecter les échéanciers

• Grande minutie dans laccomplissement des tâches

• Attitude positive et un bon esprit déquipe

• Excellente capacité de planification des priorités et un bon sens de lorganisation

• Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint et Outlook...)

JOB SUMMARY
In this role you will be part of the Residential Underwriting team. As Underwriter you will be responsible for underwriting and issuing title insurance policies for real estate transactions in Quebec specifically with notary clients as well as residential home owners. You will educate our clients about the benefits of residential title insurance due diligence and the coverage offered by the residential title insurance.

HERES HOW YOULL CONTRIBUTE:

• Receive and process title insurance requests for residential real estate transactions

• Analyze opinions on title (problems with deed/title) certificates of location and any other document necessary for the underwriting of policies

• Assist the department in implementing and executing the underwriting rules and procedures

• Maintain excellent relationships with clients and provide information on underwriting guidelines endorsements hedges costs etc.

• Participate in developing solutions to ensure complete customer satisfaction

• Issue insurance according to the requirements and standards indicating appropriate exceptions endorsements and insurance coverage accurately and timely

• Contribute to the improvement of procedures by proposing different solutions where possible

• Participate and support teamwork by helping other departments

• Any other related duties pertaining to the performance of your duties

HERES WHAT YOULL BRING:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in real estate law processing residential transactions or studies as paralegal (Diploma of College Studies in Legal Techniques)

• Damage insurance agent certification is an asset

• Excellent communication skills; bilingual oral and written (French and English)

• Effective communication oriented towards customer service

• Ability to work under pressure manage multiple files in parallel and meet deadlines

• Great attention to detail

• Positive attitude and great team spirit

• Excellent capacity for planning priorities and a highly organized

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook ...)

Total Direct Compensation:

Any pay range is in $CAD
