Job Summary
- Design develop and deliver high-quality scalable secure enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and related technologies
- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures using Java 17 and Spring Boot
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless system communication
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases writing optimized queries and ensuring data integrity
- Implement and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments in cloud environments
- Manage and support Azure services including Azure App Services Azure Functions AKS and Azure Storage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment
- Contribute to architectural decisions and promote best practices in microservices design
- 68 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java
- Strong experience with Java 17 Spring Boot REST APIs Hibernate/JPA
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Practical knowledge of Docker and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Familiarity with Azure App Services Azure Functions AKS and Storage
- Exposure to Agile ways of working
- Azure certifications (AZ-104 / AZ-204) are a strong plus
- Design scalable and secure backend solutions for enterprise applications
- Translate business requirements into technical implementations
- Write clean maintainable and testable code following best practices
- Optimize application performance and database queries
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate effectively with developers QA DevOps and product teams
