Job Summary

The Role

As Head of Delivery Practices you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Associate Director Delivery and the broader Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) team. You will provide strategic leadership to uplift delivery maturity embed best practices and enable transformation across the University.

In This Role You Will

  • Define and evolve the vision for Delivery Change Management and Business Analysis practices.
  • Establish governance structures to ensure consistency and quality across delivery initiatives.
  • Develop and embed frameworks and methodologies (Agile Waterfall hybrid models).
  • Lead training certification and mentoring programs.
  • Build and nurture communities of practice to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Champion delivery excellence through KPIs and performance measures.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on delivery business analysis and change best practices.
  • Drive improvement initiatives based on feedback and industry trends.

This continuing position is full time and will be located onsite at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

You will have:

  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and networks that deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Extensive experience leading delivery change management and business analysis practices at an organisational level.
  • Deep knowledge of delivery and change methodologies (Agile Scrum Waterfall SAFe Prosci) and business analysis frameworks (e.g. BABOK).
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing governance standards and capability uplift programs.
  • Exceptional leadership facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills to influence and drive transformation.
