Position Overview:

The School of Education announces an opportunity to apply for a full-time tenure-track (Assistant Professor rank) or non-tenure-track (depending on the candidates qualification) faculty position inSpeech-Language Pathology and Audiologyto begin Fall 2026.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate for the tenure-track position will be responsible for effective teaching research service and advising. Specific responsibilities will include:

• Primarily teaching courses in Audiology Communication Disorders and Speech and Language Development;

• secondarily interest in conducting quality scholarly research that leads to publication in peer-reviewed journals;

• contributing service to the college community.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Applicants for the tenure track position must have an earned Ph.D. Speech-Language Pathology Audiology (or Au.D.) or Speech and Hearing Science.

• ABDs will be considered only if the degree will be completed prior to or shortly after the time of employment.

• Applicants must have a certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  

The successful candidate for the non-tenure track position will be responsible for effective teaching service and advising. Specific responsibilities will include:

• Teachingcourses in Audiology Communication Disorders and Speech and Language Development at introductory levels.

• Contributing service to the college community.
  

Applicants for the non-tenure track position must have an earned Masters degree and must have a certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Applicants with teaching experience will be given preference.
