About the Job:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs all aspects of nuclear medicine imaging and procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and quality diagnostic outcomes. This role includes preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals operating imaging equipment assisting radiologists and maintaining compliance with state and federal radiation safety standards.


What Youll Do:

  • Review patient medical information and reconcile with physician orders.
  • Prepare administer and monitor isotopes following department protocols.
  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine studies (cardiac orthopedic abdominal lung etc.).
  • Monitor and maintain Hot Lab per state guidelines for safe handling receiving and disposal of radioactive materials.
  • Assist radiologists with invasive procedures when needed.
  • Operate RIS PACS and scheduling systems with proficiency.
  • Complete quality control procedures and ensure high-quality imaging for interpretation.
  • Provide compassionate respectful care while protecting patient confidentiality.
  • Adhere to ALARA principles and use radiation safety equipment effectively.


Who You Are:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program (or equivalent).
  • Certified by ARRT(N) or NMTCB.
  • Licensed by the State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging.
  • Skilled in computer use data entry and workflow prioritization.
  • Compassionate detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • (Preferred) 12 years of general diagnostic nuclear medicine experience.
