Job Summary

The Role:

The Ticket Writer is responsible for processing transactions of betting slips in accordance with governing regulations. Transactions included but are not limited to the selling/cashing of tickets make change cash checks and redemption of tickets.

Responsibilities:

Ensures compliance with federal currency transaction reporting requirements.
Verifies and balances drawer funds at beginning and end of shift. Safeguards said funds.
Collects appropriate amount of money from guest for wagers and makes the correct change.
Removes records and turns in amount of cash at the end of shift with all necessary paperwork.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED and 2 years casino experience. Previous money handling experience preferred. Strong people skills.
