Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Duty Manager to join our team in Cairo Egypt. As a Duty Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences in our dynamic hospitality environment.
- Lead and inspire the front office team fostering a collaborative and customer-focused atmosphere
- Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring high standards of service and efficiency across all departments
- Manage guest relations addressing concerns and enhancing overall satisfaction
- Coordinate with various departments to maintain seamless communication and operations
- Monitor and optimize room rates occupancy levels and overbooking strategies to maximize revenue
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to improve performance and motivation
- Ensure compliance with company policies local regulations and safety standards
- Handle emergency situations and make critical decisions when necessary
- Prepare and analyze reports on key performance indicators
- Continuously seek ways to improve guest experiences and operational efficiency
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic approach
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Proficiency in front desk operating systems (e.g. Opera) and understanding of GDS
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick assertive decisions
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Financial acumen for managing rates and overbooking strategies
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting.
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps.
