Job Summary
Overview: Met-Con Inc. is a structural metals fabricator seeking a hardworking and motivated Part Production Helper to join our team. This hands-on role offers on-the-job training and opportunities to develop trade skills with advanced potential within the Parts Department.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Ability to meet physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Sort organize and stage parts
- Grind mark and distribute materials
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Assist with inventory tracking and material staging
- Prepare parts for production or shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform basic quality checks on parts
- Support other shop departments as needed
- Communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- Follow instructions and work independently
