What Youll Do:
As an installer youll use your expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers ensuring they can age safely and comfortably in their homes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Installing maintaining and repairing home modification equipment including:
- Ramps
- Stairlifts
- Vertical Platform Lifts
- Ceiling Track Lifts
- Residential Elevators
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving service-related issues in collaboration with manufacturers and fellow technicians.
- Ordering parts as necessary for equipment servicing.
- Responding to scheduled service calls and installations within designated timeframes.
- Managing team communications including emails and updates.
- Attending department and company meetings as requested.
- Completing annual training requirements.
- Handling miscellaneous duties around the office as needed.
- Learning and taking on additional tasks or job duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For:
Were seeking individuals who possess:
- NYS Elevator Installer License (preferred)
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and learning new skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Drivers License
