We are currently seeking a full-timeCertified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team at Crossroads Correctional Centerlocated in Cameron Missouri.
The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing/nursing designee administers medications as prescribed documents administration and documents and reports any noted adverse actions or side effects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry ()
- Insulin Certification required
- Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintenance of active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant ()
- Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- One (1) year of experience in acute care emergency or correctional setting preferred
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Available Shift:Days 6:30am-7:00pm 3-12s and every other weekend
