Serves as the only state-wide Childrens Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) insurance specialist this position helps clients access affordable health insurance coverage and coordinate state and federal insurance benefits. This position administers the Insurance Premium Payment Benefit Assistance (IPPBA) component of addition the position is responsible for researching and analyzing changes in the insurance industry anticipating impacts for CSHCS and recommending strategies to ensure families use all available resources to obtain comprehensive health services for children enrolled in the program. |

Four years of professional experience including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
The physical location of this position is 400 S. Pine Street with remote options available. Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
