Job Summary
Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced Data Centre Engineer to join a major data centre development in The Netherlands. This is a long-term opportunity to work with a globally recognised engineering team delivering hyperscale infrastructure for one of Europes most advanced digital facilities.
You will play a vital role in the technical operation and support of critical infrastructure including power cooling BMS fire systems and environmental controls across a live or near-completion data centre environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor maintain and troubleshoot MEP systems including UPS LV/MV power chillers CRAC/CRAH units generators and fire suppression
Conduct routine inspections preventative maintenance and emergency response activities
Support handover commissioning and operational readiness of mechanical/electrical systems
Interface with commissioning teams subcontractors and client engineers
Maintain logs reports and incident records in line with site protocols
Follow strict HSE procedures and escalation protocols for fault handling and service continuity
Candidate Profile
5 years experience as a Data Centre Engineer MEP Technician or Facilities Engineer
Strong technical understanding of critical systems: power cooling controls
Experience in data centres hospitals clean rooms or critical infrastructure preferred
Ability to interpret technical drawings schematics and commissioning documents
Excellent fault-finding and communication skills
Fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus)
EU work rights or valid work permit for The Netherlands required
