Job Description:
An Electrical Technician (CPP - likely meaningChina Petroleum Pipelineor similar large project)installs maintains and repairs electrical systems and equipment focusing on safety code compliance troubleshootingHV/LVsystems reading blueprints and often working on pipelines or industrial sites requiring strong technical skills and adherence toHSE/QA/QC standards. Key duties involveHV cable layingearthingpanel/machinerymaintenance fault diagnosis with tools likevoltmeters and reporting working alongside engineers and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation:Setting up electrical wiring control panels power distribution and systems according to diagrams and codes.
- Maintenance & Repair:Performing preventive checks diagnosing faults (using tools like multimeters thermal scanners) and fixing malfunctioning components.
- System Focus:Working on high-voltage (HV) systems cable laying terminations and earthing especially in large projects like pipelines.
- Safety & Compliance:Strictly adhering to HSE (Health Safety Environment) and QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) standards.
- Documentation:Keeping records of work performed materials used and system performance.
- Collaboration:Working with Electrical Supervisors Engineers and other technicians.
