Job Description Summary

The Specialist Sales is responsible for supporting and closing digital sales. Individually and working with the existing sales team this role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Close Digital Sales by;

  • Conducting demonstrations and presentations for Clients
  • Responding to Client inquires
  • Identifying and closing sales opportunities

Grow Digital Sales through;

  • Establishing relationships with Manufacturers on developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales target
  • Creating marketing strategies to develop and grow the market
  • Calling on end users to develop business opportunities
  • Tracking and updating sales leads and opportunities in the CRM system

Participating in trade shows customer nights and other marketing events;

  • Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as customer prospects sales records seminars and customer information
  • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing products new products delivery schedules merchandising techniques etc.

Ensure Customer Satisfaction by;

  • Preparing and completing order documents
  • Ensuring that all purchases orders have been completed
  • Providing training to ensure clients are fully utilizing products
  • Following up with clients during and after the sales process to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops

Qualification & Skill Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience as a Sales representative with a focus on technical sales
  • Experience in the dental industry a definite asset

Key competencies

  • Effective consultative conceptual and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to establish influential relationship with customers
  • Strong organizational presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and perform with little or no supervision
  • Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook

POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Act as a Sales representative during trade shows and conventions
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time
  • Available to work weekends and evenings as required

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$78400.00 - $117600.00 Annual
