This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAAs family of companies and will be employed by TIAAs preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW perform a variety of moderately complex business planning support and project-related an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role will sit onsite likely in a hybrid capacity at the location(s) listed in this posting.

The TIAA Institute seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our research team for a term of two years. The Fellow will conduct research focused on topical areas within household finance and retirement financial security. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to conduct original research with high-value practical relevance with Institute economists and external academic research partners. Anticipated start date is flexible but as early as March 2026.
Key Responsibilities
The Fellow will be involved in all stages of the team-based research process. Primary responsibilities include designing and implementing survey instruments developing sampling strategies linking survey and administrative data and conducting statistical analysis. Another aspect of the role is writing and presenting results from both a technical and non-technical perspective.
