Engineering foundation:Degree in Electrical Computer or Engineering Physicswith 4-7 years of experience
Controlsystemready:Exposure to hardware/software used in automation and instrumentation
Techcurious:Interest in distributed control systems EPICS and programming (C/C Python Java)
Handson mindset:Comfortable with testing troubleshooting and system diagnostics

Controls Group plays a critical role in this mission by designing installing and maintaining the electrical and computer infrastructure that powers accelerator control systems across the facility.
As an Electrical or Electronics Engineer you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and support advanced control systems that enable the remote operation of custom instrumentation used in cutting-edge experiments. Your responsibilities will include designing testing and maintaining control system hardware and software components troubleshooting complex issues and contributing to system upgrades and optimizations. This role provides a unique opportunity to apply engineering expertise in a high-tech research environment solving real-world challenges in automation instrumentation and distributed control systems.
There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with the position. Expected to provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals and technical employees within their job area.
The incumbent will be required to complete the TRIUMF in-house radiation safety training course and be designated as a TRIUMF Nuclear Energy Worker.
Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada on a permanent basis (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident).

Annual salary of $91545.00 CAD plus our comprehensive employer-paid benefits plan.
