05The Team:
The EMEA economist team consists of 4 economists based in Frankfurt London and Paris.
The Impact:
The successful candidate will be supervised by the Chief Economist EMEA for the scientific direction of their internship report (if required from the school) and other research work as well as by S&Ps team of European economists for day-to-day work.

The candidate will take part in the daily business of the EMEA economic team and have the chance to discover the job of economic forecasting and macro-risks monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Conduct macro surveillance and analysis of key eurozone economies monitoring economic indicators and trends that impact regional financial stability
Research economic literature and databases to support comprehensive analysis and stay current with academic and policy developments in European economics
Perform quantitative macroeconomic analysis on topical issues including trade flows foreign direct investment monetary policy impacts housing market dynamics and capital markets integration
Draft concise analytical notes and research summaries that communicate complex economic concepts to internal stakeholders and contribute to broader research initiatives
Gain hands-on experience with professional economic databases and analytical tools while working alongside senior economists in a fast-paced intellectually stimulating environment
Contribute to S&P Globals economic intelligence capabilities while developing expertise in European macroeconomic analysis and policy evaluation
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week
What Were Looking For:
Degree in Economics and English are required. German would be a plus.
Programming on Econometric tools like R or Python or Stata is required.
We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
