Description
Junior Staff Accountant
On-Site Tarrytown NY
Salary: $60000$65000 (based on experience)
Were seeking a detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to support accounting operations and financial reporting in our Tarrytown NY office.
Responsibilities
- Perform transaction testing analytical procedures and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports using Solomon software
- Review and code vendor invoices; correct AP/AR and GL entries
- Review corporate AmEx expenses and supporting documentation
- Verify and approve payments to disability doctors
- Prepare quarterly and annual P&L reports by location
- Maintain accounting schedules and assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred
- 1 year of accounting experience (3 years preferred)
