Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department
Location: Woodsville NH
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Range: $46 $55 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ED RN will be responsible for assessing planning implementing and evaluating care for patients across the lifespan while maintaining clinical excellence safety and efficiency under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care and perform comprehensive patient assessments
Interpret clinical data to determine patient needs and prioritize interventions
Deliver care in accordance with departmental policies procedures and quality standards
Participate in trauma care resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams first responders and external healthcare providers
Maintain clear professional communication to ensure safe patient handoffs
Address patient care and departmental issues within scope of practice and escalate when necessary
Assist with data collection for emergency department research initiatives
Uphold the mission values and goals of the department and facility
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Active New Hampshire RN license
BLS ACLS and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Exceptional candidates may be considered for training
Strong clinical judgment critical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to remain calm professional and compassionate in high-stress situations
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Skilled in verbal and non-verbal de-escalation techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Level IV Trauma Center or similar emergency care setting
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and first responders
