The Externals Group is working with a well established roofing contractor specializing in commercial and governmental projects throughout the Austin & surrounding areas.

The Estimator will work with project managers to complete accurate estimates based on manufacturer specifications to meet warranty requirements and local building codes.

A Day in the Life:

Explore all specification/drawing documentation to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.
Develop estimates and bids for construction projects.
Draft and develop detailed proposals and cost estimates for Commercial Roofing projects based on dataanalysis and research; distributes reports to project managers engineers contractors clients and other stakeholders.
Analyze project specifications and drawings to compile project notes RFIs and scope development.

Key Requirements:

3 years experience with a strong understanding of estimating in commercial roofing.
Must be located within 50 miles of the Austin area.
Proficient with estimating software.
