Whats the role
The Platform Owner for GenVU is a strategic leadership role responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the GenVU (Salesforce) platform. You will define and execute the platform roadmap drive adoption across the organization and with clients manage stakeholder relationships and ensure the platform delivers measurable value to both internal users and external clients. This role requires a blend of strategic vision operational excellence strong stakeholder management skills and hands-on leadership.
What youll be doing
Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and own the GenVU platform vision strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with Gen IIs transformation objectives including short and medium priorities
- Translate business requirements and market trends into platform capabilities and features
- Prioritize platform initiatives based on strategic value client impact and resource availability
- Identify opportunities for platform innovation including AI integration and automation
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the senior point of contact for all GenVU-related matters across the organization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Operations Client Services Finance and Technology teams
- Engage directly with clients to gather feedback understand needs and communicate platform enhancements
- Present platform updates roadmap progress and strategic direction to senior leadership and the board
Platform Evangelism & Adoption
- Champion the GenVU platform across Gen II driving user adoption and engagement
- Develop and execute communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed of platform capabilities and updates
- Training program and materials to maximize platform utilization & value
- Gather and act on user feedback to continuously improve the platform experience
Release Management & Communication
- Own the platform release cycle ensuring timely delivery of new features and enhancements
- Coordinate release communications to clients including release notes training and support materials
- Manage internal communications regarding platform changes downtime and new capabilities
- Assure best practice governance processes to ensure quality and minimize disruption
Resource & Budget Management
- Manage the GenVU budget including internal resources and external partner/vendor costs
- Oversee a blended delivery model combining internal team members with partner technical resources
- Ensure optimal allocation of resources to balance quality velocity and cost-effectiveness
- Hold delivery partners accountable for quality timelines and adherence to standards
- Track and report on platform ROI and delivery metrics
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in product ownership platform management or technology leadership roles
- Demonstrable experience with Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud or similar)
- Proven track record of defining and executing product/platform roadmaps
- Strong experience managing and prioritizing competing demands from multiple stakeholders
- Experience managing blended teams of internal and external/partner resources
- Budget management experience with accountability for delivery outcomes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills comfortable engaging at all levels including C-suite and board
- Experience in financial services fund administration or private equity is highly desirable
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator Platform App Builder or similar)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
- Understanding of workflow automation CRM best practices and client portal design (UI / UX)
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise platforms
- Knowledge of data governance security and compliance requirements in financial services

- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage influence and align diverse stakeholders across all levels

The salary range for this position is $250000 - $275000 in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidates experience level.
Work Arrangement
All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that all US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule comprised of three (3) days a week in our office and two (2) day remotely.
