This role is part of Alcons Engineering function a team focused on improving quality processes products packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Technician III Repair & Maintenance Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path) is primarily responsible for managing technical tasks in planning designing and implementing maintenance programs for facilities and equipment. You will be expected to build effective and meaningful relationships to coordinate maintenance work review engineering specifications and participate in equipment installation.
In this role a typical day will include:
Performing hands-on troubleshooting repair and maintenance of equipment and systems
Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance following established procedures
Identifying technical issues and determining effective repair solutions
Reading and interpreting technical drawings schematics manuals and work instructions
Operating and maintaining mechanical electrical and electronic components safely
Using hand tools power tools and measuring instruments accurately
Supporting installation modification and testing of equipment
Ensuring equipment meets required specifications after repair
Handling EQE activities to support shift operations
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
- Diploma Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electronics or Mechatronics preferred)
- Good basic knowledge of automation and HPLC
- Strong understanding of Preventive Maintenance
- Open to fresh graduates; 1 year of experience is preferred
- Good communication skills in Bahasa and passive English-speaking ability
- Hands-on technical hands-on skills for troubleshooting and repair would be preferred
- Good understanding of Power BI or similar tools would be preferred
- Good knowledge of CSV (Computer System Validation) would be preferred
