Job Title: PeopleSoft Test Lead

Duration: 10-month contract
Location: Riverside CA (Remote)

Note: The Pay Rate mentioned is as per C2C Tax Term. W2 Rate will differ.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Test Lead to oversee and manage testing activities across system integration and user acceptance testing phases. This role will lead cross-functional testing teams ensure adherence to testing strategies and drive high-quality outcomes throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The ideal candidate has strong QA leadership experience hands-on knowledge of test management tools and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all testing activities across the project lifecycle

• Provide guidance and leadership to testing teams including technical resources analysts and business users

• Follow established test strategies and develop detailed test plans based on business requirements and functional/design specifications

• Utilize JIRA to manage test plans test cases test execution and defect tracking

• Oversee test case development in alignment with the test plan

• Monitor test execution progress and defect resolution to ensure project deadlines are met

• Manage and oversee the defect management process using established QA methodologies

• Facilitate test execution reviews and defect triage meetings for cross-functional issues

• Coordinate with development teams testers and business stakeholders to prioritize defects based on severity and business impact

• Collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical teams across multiple organizational levels

• Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely

• Prepare and deliver daily project status reports to executive leadership

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA)

• Strong knowledge of QA best practices and methodologies

• Hands-on experience with JIRA

• Experience with test automation

Preferred Qualifications (Highly Desired)

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules including:

  • Workforce Administration (WFA)

  • Payroll

  • Benefits

  • Commitment Accounting

• Experience with Salesforce

• Background as a Business Analyst Functional Analyst or Systems Analyst
