*Masters degree preferred

Experience:

*Healthcare experience required; Privacy and security program experience required

*Minimum five years experience working in a regulatory or compliance role required.

*Familiarity of regulatory/compliance programs and processes required

*Healthcare experience strongly preferred

*Privacy and security program experience preferred

*Milliman or InterQual care guidelines preferred



Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

*Strong written verbal and listening skills

*Strong analytical skills

*Project management skills

*Ability to research and read regulations

*Ability to work with varying levels of leadership

*Ability to utilize data to develop dashboards

*Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Teams)

*Experience with GRC tools

Department Overview

The corporate compliance department is committed to promoting an ethical culture at Childrens Hospitals and efforts are advanced by ensuring integrity in business practices providing continuous education and promoting collaborative relationships with all customers.



Position Summary

This role will focus 50% of their time on compliance activities and 50% of their time on privacy program activities. The Compliance Consultant is a vital member to the Childrens Minnesota compliance program. This role will coordinate and execute the seven elements of an effective compliance program including: advising and drafting policies and procedures supporting the Childrens compliance officer and managers developing training and education monitoring and auditing compliance risks and investigating and responding to reported compliance violations. This position will report to Compliance Management team.

The role will be approximately 80% remote and 20% on-site.
