Job Summary
Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Brooklyn NY 11203
Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours/week 8 hours/day MondayFriday
Shift: Day Shift 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $45$50 per hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed Radiation Therapist to deliver safe accurate and high-quality radiation therapy treatments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on clinical experience and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and established protocols
Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning during treatment sessions
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in compliance with safety and manufacturer guidelines
Monitor document and report patient progress and treatment responses
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
Active Radiation Therapist license issued by the New York Department of Health (NYDOH)
Primary Source Verification required
BLS certification preferred
