We are seeking a passionate School Based Counselor to join our growing team!
As a School Based Counselor you will provide in-person and virtual therapy services directly in the schools supporting students in grades K-12. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of children adolescents and their families.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and family therapy sessions within the school setting
Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning
Collaborate closely with school staff administrators and community partners to ensure quality care and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Schedule and Benefits:
Monday-Friday: We work the school schedule
Hybrid: 2-3 days in-person other days virtual
No weekends holidays or on call schedules

Pay Range
$28.55 - $42.85Job Note: This is a hybrid position 3 days in the school and 2 days in person. Bilingual applicants highly encouraged
Job Summary
Provides behavioral health services to emotionally disturbed and mentally ill patients. Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Assesses treats plans and provides psycho-education and individual family and group therapy.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Requires extensive walking throughout the facility. Prolonged periods of sitting reviewing medical records and completing documentation. Repetitive wrist motion and occasional lifting of 10-20 pounds. Requires verbal and written communication in English. Intact sight and hearing with or without assistive devices is required.
Education Experience and Certifications
Masters Degree in a relevant human services field such as Social Work Counseling Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited school of graduate education required. Must be issued an associate licensure and/or certification from the appropriate governing board in the state in which one works within 6 months of employment. Successful completion of CPI and CPR training required within 90 days of hire. Clinical experience preferred. Case management experience with the Serious and Persistent Mental Illness population and/or experience working with substance abuse preferred. Must have good therapeutic communication skills.
