Mental Health Social Worker or Counsellor

A fantastic opportunity for a Mental Health Social Worker or Counsellor to join our team to facilitate therapy groups sessions for both inpatient & outpatient therapy groups.

The applicant needs to have demonstrated confidence in group facilitation and engagement of patients across age groups.

You will also be participating in the ongoing development of these programs and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support all patients under these unique programs.

About You

You are a motivated and compassionate clinician with a genuine interest in recovery-focused mental health care. You have the confidence and creativity to facilitate therapeutic groups and the professionalism to manage complex clinical needs within a dynamic team setting.

You will bring:

• A recognised undergraduate degree in Social Work or Diploma in Counselling.
• Current registration with ACA PACFA or AASW.
• Demonstrated experience in group facilitation and patient engagement.
• Experience working with Alcohol Addiction.
• Strong clinical judgement organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially teams.
• Desirable Experience in facilitating DBT type manualised programs to young people and adults
• Strong team player.

Remuneration: Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances.
