Job Summary
Introduction
Duties & Responsibilities
BIM Modelling and structural drafting in Revit and Autocad;
Reinforcing detailing
Assist with conceptual design development and preliminary drawings for further refinement by the engineer
Produce functional economical and technically correct drawings in conjunction with the engineer
Translate specifications and designs into engineering drawings ready for construction.
Drawings must provide unambiguous scope for execution.
Contribute to the success and profitability of projects by applying technical skills and efficient work practices
Calculate quantities and measurements to enable the team to produce effective and accurate schedules.
Coordination with all disciplines
Manage drawings received and the drawings issuing process
Review incoming drawings and advise the engineer and draughters on changes required
Manage projects during execution stage: shared inspections/meetings responsibility with the engineer as required
Manage compliance with the ISO 9001 quality system and drawing standards Revit and Autocad is essential with experience in BIM modelling structural drafting and rebar detailing
Desired Experience & Qualification
NDip in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification
Minimum 8-10 years experience in the management and execution of projects
Experience in all types of building structures and some experience in civil structures
Revit and Autocad is essential with experience in BIM modelling structural drafting and rebar detailing
