What you will do:
Receives assignments obtains required supplies completes work on time. Completes Stat requests within standard turnaround times. Responses promptly to beeper and/or overhead paging.
Verifies that the appropriate specimen has been obtained / received for the test requested. Maintains integrity of the specimen.
Work Hours/Shift:
40 hours Night Shift e/o weekend and rotating holidays. Night differential available.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school or GED.
Natl Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
Technical training in Phlebotomy Program 1 year of experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills; strong phlebotomy skills. Adaptability and flexibility necessary for work schedule and patient care requirements. Good command of the English language and medical terminology.
