In the Endoscopy RN role you will be a central member of the GI lab team: preparing rooms and equipment reviewing patient histories verifying consent and ensuring correct procedural labeling. Youll assist the endoscopist with scope manipulation biopsy and device placement and the management of sedation and airway support while continuously monitoring vital signs and patient comfort. You will uphold immaculate sterile technique handle specimens and labeling and document procedures promptly and accurately. Youll coordinate with anesthesia and recovery staff to ensure smooth transitions from sedation to wakefulness reporting any changes in patient status with clarity and speed.
