Are you a skilled plumber looking for a role with plenty of variety and people interaction
As a Plumber within the Trades Services team at the University of Otago you will have the opportunity to work on different types of commercial and residential plumbing systems.
You will execute the planning and delivery of high-quality Plumbing and Gas work on our Dunedin Campus including general plumbing and gas fitting repairs maintenance alterations and installations.
Your skills and experience/ Kā pūkeka me kā wheako
Ideally you will be a registered and experienced Plumber/Gas Fitter with practical and sound knowledge of the sector.
Certifying Plumbing and Gas is an advantage.
Successful candidates will also have:
Experience in Plumbing and Gas Installation and maintenance.
General knowledge of materials equipment and sub-trades relative to the building industry.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
You will be self-motivated energetic and organised with the ability to produce quality work within required timeframes.
This position requires a person who can work under minimum supervision with good communication skills who is result focussed and client centred as much of the work involves dealing with a variety of people around the University.

This is a permanent full-time Monday to Friday (40 hours week) position located in Ōtepoti Dunedin.
The appointment range for this position is $74059 to $90581 per annum. On-call and overtime rates are available.
