Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support our Arizona and New Mexico operations. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials equipment and supplies to and from job sites plants and yards. The ideal candidate has experience in construction or heavy-equipment hauling understands jobsite safety expectations and takes pride in maintaining equipment and meeting delivery schedules.
This role requires professionalism attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced field-oriented environment.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles including dump trucks tractor-trailers lowboys and/or flatbeds depending on assignment
Transport construction materials (aggregate asphalt concrete soil debris) and/or heavy equipment to and from job sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations and company policy
Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with weight size and safety requirements
Maintain accurate driver logs load tickets delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELDs) as required
Communicate effectively with dispatch superintendents plant operators and jobsite personnel
Follow all OSHA DOT and company safety policies including jobsite safety protocols
Assist with loading and unloading when required (may include tarping chaining or operating auxiliary equipment)
Report vehicle maintenance needs safety concerns or jobsite issues promptly
Maintain a clean and professional appearance of assigned equipment
Work flexible hours including early mornings evenings weekends and overtime as needed based on project demands
Qualifications (Experience Education & Certifications Key Attributes):
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a clean driving record
Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience preferred (construction or heavy hauling experience strongly preferred)
Current DOT medical card
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening background check and ongoing random testing as required by DOT
Experience operating equipment such as dump trucks lowboys flatbeds or end dumps is a plus
Familiarity with construction jobsite environments and safety requirements
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance standards
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs climb in and out of equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Dependable punctual and safety-oriented with strong communication skills

- Remaining in a stationary position often standing or sitting for prolonged periods: Constantly
- Moving about to accomplish tasks at a worksite or moving from one worksite to another: Constantly
