The PantherDining Hall at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Dishwasher. This position promotes sustainability within dining operations including implementation and maintenance of Somat or similar food pulping procedures.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position works with management to ensure continued compliance with green seal addition to other duties as assigned this position may be required to be cross-trained for another position and/or responsibility in order to provide both back-up for a department as well as supplement resources needed during certain times of the year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Properly cleans the cooking utensils and equipment.
- Restocks all washed items in appropriate area.
- Maintains the cleanliness of dish machines as well as dish areas.
- Washes sorts replaces and restocks flatware serving dishes china glasses and all other washable items.
- Assists daily in trash removal cleaning and maintenance of the back of house operation.
- Assists in the organization pick up and cleaning of laundry area.
- Ensures the dish machine is properly cleaned and maintained throughout the shift.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous dishwashing experience.
- Excellent customer service.
- Physical Requirements: Extended standing walking ability to bend stoop reach and climb ladders.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
- Ability to work in all temperature conditions.
- Flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
