POSITION SUMMARY:
The Byers Softball Complex is seeking part-time Concession Stand Staff to support game-day operations. Concession staff are responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages operating the point-of-sale system handling cash and card transactions restocking inventory and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This position plays an important role in providing friendly customer service and creating an enjoyable experience for players families and spectators during softball events.

SCHEDULE: This role will involve working on Saturdays playing a key part in our gameday events and helping to create an engaging experience for all attendees.

EQUIPMENT:
The role requires experience using a cash register and point-of-sale system operating concession equipment such as popcorn machines and drink dispensers and performing basic maintenance in the concession area.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The role requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift or carry up to 2550 pounds such as boxes of supplies. Employees must be able to perform repetitive motions like scooping pouring or handling money and frequently bend reach and move around the concession area. The job also involves working in varying temperatures including heat from cooking equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is fast-paced and team-oriented primarily during league softball and baseball games as well as weekend tournaments. Employees will work in covered concession areas interacting with players coaches and fans and must be prepared for varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
