Location: Cincinnati OH (On-site) Department: Client Service About the Role / Position Summary The Associate Vice President Institutional Portfolio Analysis is responsible for providing ongoing support for advisory relationships. The position requires the ability to work with internal parties such as Advisors Portfolio Management Team Research Operations and IT as well as external parties such as client staff and investment committees investment managers and custodians to meet the needs of the client and Advisor that services them. The responsibilities of this position include serving as a primary point of contact with clients preparing materials for client meetings conducting in-depth analysis on client portfolios to produce robust performance attribution monitoring client portfolios and proactively recommending potential solutions to Advisors and interacting with all interested parties to provide an exceptional client experience. This position will be expected over time to take primary ownership of certain client relationships in preparing to become an Advisor. What Youll Do / Position Responsibilities Client Management & Support - Support client relationships for the Advisor Team; participate in preparation sessions for client meetings; attend and lead client meetings as appropriate.
- Directly handle client activities as required including new client onboarding client portfolio maintenance (e.g. adding/removing investment managers) portfolio rebalancing assisting with client audits and creating donor development pieces with guidance from the Advisor.
- Prepare materials for client meetings including but not limited to performance reports and executive summaries attribution analysis risk analysis asset allocation studies private capital pacing and liquidity analysis spending policy analysis investment manager searches and recommendations and any other analytics to meet client needs.
- Collaborate with the Research Team on client-directed manager due diligence and other client-driven requests.
Investment Analysis & Expertise - Monitor client portfolios for adherence to appropriate benchmarks and portfolio construction guidelines as determined by the FEG Investment Policy Committee; work with the Advisor Research Team and/or Portfolio Management Team to determine a plan of action to address violations of said guidelines.
- Participate in client development activities including client prospecting RFP editing and Finals pitches.
- Develop a strong understanding of FEG investment philosophy and recommended list of investment strategies.
- Attend investment manager meetings and weekly Research Team meetings.

What We Expect / Qualifications - Bachelors degree in finance or related discipline graduate degree preferred.
- 8 years work experience in the investment industry or a similar field preferably institutional or non-profit related.
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Exemplary knowledge of analytical skills and a passion for investments.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint with strong attention to detail excellent written and verbal communication skills and high work ethic.
