As an NPI Engineer at NTS Singapore you are responsible for successfully transitioning new products from design to mass production. You work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability quality and on-time product this role you play a key part in developing robust manufacturing processes and supporting production ramp-ups in a high-precision cleanroom environment.
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from design phase through pilot build and mass production
Manage project timelines resources budgets and communicate progress to internal stakeholders
Review designs for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA) providing feedback to design teams
Develop document and optimize manufacturing processes work instructions and quality procedures
Support pilot builds production ramp-ups and resolve manufacturing issues through structured problem solving
Participate in risk assessments such as FMEA and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Mechatronics or related field)
Minimum 2 years of experience in high-precision assembly manufacturing or design engineering
Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes including mechanics electronics control systems pneumatics and hydraulics (semiconductor industry preferred)
Experience with complex mechatronic systems such as linear motors sensors servos actuators and control systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional multidisciplinary teams
Proficiency in reading and updating technical drawings; cleanroom experience is an advantage
