Material Engineer Student
Description -
Indigo is seeking a highly motivated student to join our Materials Characterization Labs!
In this exciting role you will play a key part in supporting our various departments including R&D production and customer escalations by providing valuable analytical insights through cutting-edge microscopy and mechanical testing techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of analytical tests using state-of-the-art analytical techniques.
- Prepare samples for analysis.
- Analyze and interpret test results to generate comprehensive reports.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.
- Assist senior staff with ongoing research projects.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Third-year bachelors degree in Material or Chemical Engineering. M.S. is an advantage.
- Strong foundation in scientific principles and methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to laboratory work.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite).
