Practice Improvement Manager 12-month fixed term contract

We are pleased to offer an exciting oneyear opportunity for an experienced and motivated practitioner to join our newly established Continuous Improvement Hub as a Practice Improvement Manager. This role provides additional capacity to drive forward our overarching improvement plan for Childrens Services strengthening our culture of learning reflective practice and quality assurance across the whole service.

About the Role

Working closely with the Senior Practice Improvement manager and Head of Service Safeguarding and Practice Improvement you will help further develop and deliver a robust programme of quality assurance activity. You will use findings from reviews to design and facilitate meaningful learning influence practice development and help ensure that the voice of children and young people is consistently evident in the way we work.

This role will be central in promoting a culture of continuous improvement supporting managers and teams to embed highquality evidencebased practice. As a Practice Improvement Manager produce analytical reports and work collaboratively with colleagues managers and partners to identify themes develop action plans and monitor improvements. You will support the delivery of mentoring through QA activity contribute to organisational learning and help drive measurable improvements in outcomes for children and young people.

About the Candidate

We are looking for a qualified and registered Social Worker with significant experience in statutory childrens services a strong understanding of legislation and practice standards and proven experience in improving practice quality. You will bring analytical skills credibility and the ability to influence challenge and support colleagues at all levels. Experience of auditing or delivering training is desirable but not essential what matters most is your commitment to improving practice and your ability to contribute positively to a learning culture.
