How youll contribute
A Rehabilitation Aide who excels in this role:
Perform rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions that assist or promote the patients ability to attain his or her maximum functional potential
Report patient responses to interventions and condition to the nurse supervising therapist(s) or assistant.
Participate in facility/unit quality management activities.
Collect quality review data.
Participate in survey preparation activities.
Participates in facility/unit safety committee activities
Contribute to the delivery of cost-effective care.
Assist in formalized discipline specific and interdisciplinary group activities.
Participates in continuing education/professional development activities
Communicate and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients families clients coworkers and others
Adhere to policies and practices of applicable professional organizations client hospital and Kindred Healthcare.
Contribute to client relations and marketing activities.
Maintain competency.
Participate in team meetings.
Contribute to development of improved efficiency and productivity of unit clinical/administrative functions

What were looking for
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience: Six months experience as a Rehab Tech or Restorative Nursing Aide in a hospital or longterm care environment preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) is required
Hourly range: $17.13 - $21.85
