interactive investor the UKs second largest direct-to-consumer investment platform enables individuals in the UK to plan save and invest in the way that works for them.
Our Adviser business provides financial planning solutions and technology for UK financial advisers enabling them to create value for their customers.
Our Investments business is a specialist asset manager that focuses on areas where we have both strength and scale to capitalise on the key themes shaping the market through either public markets or alternative asset classes.
About the Role
We areseekinga highly skilledTechnical Business Analystwith deep experience in infrastructure data analysis server lifecycle management and insights this role you will work at the intersection of technology and business transforming complex infrastructure data into actionable intelligence that drives strategic decisionmaking and operational excellence.
You will play a pivotal part inanalysingobsolescence risk across our server estate mining large datasets building Power BI dashboards and supporting senior stakeholders with clear compelling insights.Strong communicationand relationshipbuilding skills are essential as you will regularly collaborate with technical teams project leadership and nontechnical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailedinfrastructure data analysisidentifyingpatterns risks and opportunities across server estates and platforms.
Lead onserver obsolescence treatment including data capture assessment reporting and recommendation of remediation paths.
Technical change readinessensuringtestingcriteria is met tovalidatechange success acrossmultiplestakeholders
Performdataanalysisandvalidationfrom multiple technical sources to ensure reporting accuracy and data quality.
Develop andmaintainPower BI dashboards and analytical reportsthat provide actionable insights for leadership teams.
Translate complex technical data intoclear concise and engagingdashboardsfor technical and nontechnical audiences.
Engage effectively with stakeholders across Infrastructure Architecture Security and Delivery teams to gather requirements and align priorities.
Support strategic decisionmaking by preparingevidencebased business cases data summaries and risk analyses.
Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes documentation and reporting pipelines.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven experience as aTechnical Business Analyst preferably in an infrastructure or technologyheavy environment.
Strong background inanalytical data work including data mining cleansing correlation and interpretation.
Hands-on experience withserver lifecycle or obsolescence managementand understanding of supporting technologies.
AdvancedproficiencyinPower BI including data modelling DAX and dashboard development.
Ability to convert complex datasets into meaningful insights and communicate findings clearly.
Excellentstakeholder management with experience working across multidisciplinary technical teams.
Strong written and verbalcommunication and presentationskills.
Comfortable working independently managing priorities and delivering highquality outputs to deadlines.
Desirable
Knowledge of infrastructure components such as servers storage networking and operating systems.
Familiarity withscripting or automation tools used for data extraction and transformation.
Experience working within ITILaligned environments or infrastructure transformationprogrammes.
