Overview:

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk Virginia is currently hiring a Radiology Supervisor to work a full time day shift.

Hours

• Monday - Friday: Day Shift

• This leader will be expected to provide occasional off-hours and weekend support as needed

• Flexibility is essential to support the needs of a continuously operating department

Overview

The Radiology Supervisor oversees MRI and CT services ensuring high-quality safe and efficient operations around the clock. Assumes responsibility accountability provides leadership for daily operations coordination of work quality and service and team member supervision in assigned area of an operating center. Facilitates staff management in a multi skilled multi-functional environment and coordinates quality improvement activities resolution of customer service issues and management and monitoring of resource utilization.

Education

• Bachelors Level Degree (Required)

• Extensive successful management of hospital departments may be substituted in lieu of bachelors degree but in this case a Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technologywould be required

Certification/Licensure

• ARRT (Required)

• MRI or CT certification (Preferred)

Experience

• 3 years of radiology experience (Required)

• 3 years of management experience (Required)
