IR Technologist (IR Tech), Full-Time

Position Highlights:

• Job Type: IR Tech
• Location: Community Hospital
• Schedule: Full-Time 30 hours per week rotating weekend call

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for interventional procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Monitor patients vital signs and overall condition during procedures.
• Set up and operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
• Assist the interventional radiologist by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures including patient information imaging results and any complications.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education required
• Associates degree in radiologic technology or a related field preferred.
• Graduated from an accredited radiography program.
• Must have ARRT (R) (VI) or (CV) registry (eligibility).
• Must have a current license in the State of Colorado.
• BLS and ACLS required

Compensation:

• $37.00 - $42.55 per hour depending on education and experience.
