Under the supervision of the Manager or Lead Tech performs 2D and 3D screening and diagnostic mammography exams using ionizing radiation for use in the detection and treatment of breast tumors. Monitors and maintains essential patient care and safety including practicing ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable). Flexibility to work overtime/cover at other sites as needed.

Education: Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology
Licensure Certification Registration: ARRT (R) (M) Registered and licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program in the specialties in which the technologist practices. Maintains licensure on a biannual basis maintains CEUS specific to the specialty in which the technologist practices.
Skills Knowledge & Abilities: Candidate must be proficient in the use Radiologic equipment including Digital and stereotactic equipment or in the absence of this skill must have the ability to be trained to a level of competency. Minimal computer skills required.
Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience with Clinical internship program in a hospital setting is required.

Pay Range:
$47.00 - $69.84The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors that may include seniority education training relevant experience relevant certifications geographyof work location job responsibilities or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials call pay premium pay overtime pay and other additional pay practices as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
