Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Home Health Worker to provide in-home care and support to clients in Bloomfield Hills MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities ensuring their comfort and safety and promoting their independence in a respectful and professional manner. This position is 7 days a week morning shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients well-being.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Monitor clients health status and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
- Perform light household tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Able to work independently without an issue.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to pass background checks.
