Where Youll Be Working
Youll be based in the Operating Theatres at Belmont Hospital working within Anaesthetics and/or the Recovery Unit. Belmont Hospital has four operating theatres and offers a welcoming well-resourced environment with free onsite parking and a strong focus on teamwork and patient safety.
Youll work collaboratively within a dynamic and experienced perioperative team that values open communication professionalism and mutual support. Flexible working hours are available with occasional overtime and on-call shifts after hours and on weekends.
About the Role
This role is suited to an experienced Registered Nurse with skills in anaesthetics and/or recovery room nursing. Your day-to-day work will involve providing safe high-quality perioperative care working both independently and as part of the wider theatre team.
Most shifts are 8 hours with occasional 6 or 10 hour shifts depending on service needs. You will be supported by Nurse Unit Managers Clinical Nurse Educators and senior nursing staff with an orientation day and supernumerary shifts provided on commencement to support a smooth transition into the role.
