Advanced cardiac assessment and treatment

Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
Pediatric ER Level III NICU and Pediatric ICU
Orthopedic care robotic surgery cardiac vascular and interventional services
Position Summary
As a PACU RN you will provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients. Responsibilities include monitoring neurological cardiac and respiratory status managing airway support providing initial wound care responding to complications and collaborating with surgical and anesthesia teams. The role includes participation in on-call rotations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in the PACU
Apply nursing process critical thinking and technical skills to deliver safe care
Assess patient condition monitor continuously and document changes
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and follow-up
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Participate in scheduling unit rounding and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
1 year of recent PACU RN experience (critical care experience preferred)
Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license (compact license holders have 60 days)
Graduate of an accredited RN program (Diploma or Associate Degree)
BLS certification within 30 days of employment
ACLS certification within 60 days of employment
PALS certification within 60 days of employment
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2
