Job Summary
Job Title: Clinical Data Entry Specialist
Duration: 10-week contract assignment
Location: New York NY 10034
Schedule: Shifts may fall between 7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Compensation: Up to $24/hour (W2)
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Data Entry Specialist to support post go-live validation activities following the implementation of an EPIC Beaker system. This role focuses on validating microbiology and serology laboratory results to ensure accuracy completeness and proper documentation within the system.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently performing detailed data review and entry and communicating effectively with internal laboratory and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Validate microbiology and serology laboratory results following EPIC Beaker go-live
Perform accurate data review and data entry within the EPIC Beaker system
Identify discrepancies inconsistencies or missing data and escalate issues as needed
Document validation findings in accordance with established procedures
Communicate clearly and professionally via phone with laboratory or support staff
Work independently while meeting productivity and quality standards
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal communication and telephone skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Prior data entry experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a laboratory healthcare or clinical systems environment
Familiarity with EPIC or EPIC Beaker
